For the past 20 years we have been successfully investing in and helping start-up companies with disruptive technology. Technology is considered disruptive if it either changes, or creates an entire industry. In other words, it’s a great idea.

Our proven ability to identify disruptive technology, also enables us to spot great inventions.

Our founder, Scott Shaffer, is also an avid IronMan triathlete and competes worldwide. His passion for fitness led to the creation of Monkee Do, whose products and promotion help fight the growing childhood obesity epidemic. He too is an inventor with patents and has successfully licensed sports related equipment.

While pursuing licensing agreements for his own inventions, he kept seeing the same problem. Many inventors with great ideas are at a standstill because they lack funding and guidance too. Scott saw a real opportunity for Visionary Innovations Inc. to use its venture capital experience and funding capabilities to help these “start-up inventors”.
